Market Experience Granville Island (2 Hours)
The meeting point on Granville Island is the Edible BC Retail Store. This is located on the east wall of the public market (that's the right hand side of the market if you are facing the mountains). The easiest way to find it is to go through the door by the JJ Bean Coffee Company and just walk straight down the aisle - it's at the end on your right hand side. If you are driving, please park in the 3-hour parking areas close to the Public Market, as you will be provided with a parking pass from Edible BC. The centerpiece of the island experience is the Granville Island Public Market which houses an array of vendors including green grocers, butchers, bakers, fishmongers, importers, ethnic food sellers, sweet stands and casual eateries as well as a wine shop, also Canada's only artisan sake maker and a micro roaster of organic coffee using a 1913 roaster. The market has everything from fresh buffalo mozzarella and live Dungeness crab, to the famous Oyama sausages and Terra breads, Granville Island is your one stop shop. Just outside the market are many artisans and other smaller buildings, the Netloft, which houses a book store devoted solely to cookbooks, Liberty Wine merchants with an outstanding selection of BC wines, as well as Roger's Chocolates - BC's oldest chocolatier.
