Enjoy a gentle rafting tour on the Athabasca River for a unique perspective of Jasper National Park. The 16 kilometre, 2-hour round trip passes through many small sets of rapids and calm stretches, which allows your National Park Licensed guide to point out the natural and human history of Jasper. Specially designed rafts offer a safe, comfortable ride that any first time rafter will enjoy. This trip is for everyone from toddlers to seniors.

    Columbia Icefield Tour (5 Hours)

    While in Jasper, be sure to see one of the worlds' most scenic highways, the Icefields Parkway. Our guide will tour you along the parkway stopping at Athabasca & Sunwapta Falls and other viewpoints along the way. Once you arrive at the Icefields, you will have time to take a Ice Explorer Tour on the Athabasca Glacier. There is a good chance to see wildlife including bears, bighorn sheep, moose and mountain goats on the Columbia Icefield tour.

    Discover Jasper (4 Hours)
    Jasper, located in the Athabasca Valley in Jasper National Park, is fascinating in its beauty and history. Your introduction will encompass some outstanding scenery including the Jasper townsite and Patricia and Pyramid Lake. Stroll along the stunning Maligne Canyon where the two bridges over the Canyon provide views of water falls below. In the Maligne Valley the Colin and Queen Elizabeh Ranges make the Medicine Lake viewpoint extraordinary. When travelling out to Maligne Lake watch for wildlife, this valley is home to bears, eer, moose and big horn sheep. Eagles, osprey and an active wolf pack frequent this area as well.

    Discover Jasper & Maligne Lake Cruise (6 Hours)
    This introduction to Jasper begins with a short tour of the town before heading across the Athabasca River to Maligne Canyon. Take a stroll beside the narrow limestone gorge and traverse the two bridges over the Canyon for views of water falls below. Next, the Colin and Queen Elizabeth Ranges make the Medicine Lake viewpoint extraordinary. At Maligne Lake a 1½ hour guided cruise provides unobstructed views of magnificent shoreline with dense forests and glacial peaks that rise abruptly from the waters edge. Near Spirit Island, enjoy an opportunity to go ashore and create your own photographs of this world famous spot. On your return trip to Jasper be sure to watch for bears, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, and eagles.

    Jasper to Banff Tour (9 Hours)
    Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never-ending procession of mammoth mountains, jagged snowy peaks, and over 100 glaciers. The entire day is spent in the majesty of Canada's two most famous National Parks, Banff and Jasper. Enroute, make a stop at Athabasca Falls located just outside of the Jasper Townsite. Among the most powerful and breathtaking falls in the Rocky Mountains, the Athabasca River thunders through a narrow gorge where the walls have been smoothed and potholed by the sheer force of the rushing water carrying sand and rock. Our next stop is the breathtaking Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier where we will allow time to enjoy a Ice Explorer ride on the Glacier (optional). Next we continue to the Weeping Wall, Peyto Lake and the Crowfoot Glacier before joining the Trans Canada Highway near Lake Louise where a stop will be made to view the lake and famous Chateau, then continue on the Trans Canada Highway, passing fortress formations of Castle and Protection Mountains to arrive in to Banff late afternoon.

    Maligne Lake Cruise (1 Hours, 30 minutes)
    Departing from Maligne Lake dock
    The 90 minute interpretive tours travels 14 km down the lake through Sampson narrows and onto Spirit Island. The vessels are staffed by recognized Heritage Tourism Guides and Coast Guard licenses Pilots. Learn of the local history, geology, wildlife and glaciology of Maligne Lake and of Jasper National Park as some of the most spectacular scenery in the Rockies drift past your window. At Spirit Island the boat lands to allow for a short walk to the viewpoint overlooking the mountain ringed southern shores of Maligne Lake.
    Please note, ice conditions on Maligne Lake may delay start date of cruise.

    Wildlife Discovery Tour (3 Hours)

    If you want to see wildlife when visiting the Rockies your best opportunity is in Jasper! The area the town occupies is the largest inhabitable valley in the Canadian Rockies, which means more food for "All Creatures Great and Small". Put on your safari hat as you set out into the Park with your own Wildlife Interpreter in search of Bear, Elk, Sheep, Goats, Coyote, Wolves, Moose and many of Mother Nature's other mountain creatures. This three hour tour is the perfect chance to enjoy spectacular scenery and learn more about Jasper's original inhabitants. Don't forget your camera!

    Jasper Tramway Shuttle
    Departing from all Jasper Hotels
    Your Tramway Package includes round-trip transportation to 'Jasper's Peak Attraction' and your Tramway ticket. This is the longest and highest aerial tramway in the Rockies. The ride up to the top of Whistlers Mountain is breathtaking. Your Tramway Guide will provide a fully narrated tour during the seven-minute ride to the top. Once at the upper terminal you can enjoy a meal in the Treeline Restaurant or take part in a complimentary interpretive hike with Mountain Guide.

    Tramway Shuttle departs from Jasper hotels up to 8 times per day. Check with your front desk for exact departure times.

    Dog Sled Tour (6.5 Hours)
    This tour begins with a 1.25-hour journey along the historic Yellowhead highway to the Small River rest area west of Valemount, BC. Your experienced guide will teach you how to use the sled and work with the dogs. You will then have the opportunity to drive your own team of sled dogs past snow-covered trees, waterfalls, open meadows and abundant wildlife. For those not wanting to drive, simply snuggle in the sled and soak up the incredible scenery. Enjoy a native-style campfire lunch alongside a mountain stream.

    Mount Edith Cavell Walk (6 Hours)
    Departing from all Jasper Hotels
    This 6 km hike encompasses some of the most stunning scenery to be seen anywhere. Your guide will lead you to several viewpoints overlooking the moraine fields, bright glacial lakes, and the huge 1000m face of Mt. Edith Cavell. As you hike up the trail it will gradually open up into a lush alpine meadow carpeted with wildflowers. We will be overlooking the Angel glacier, which is always active in the hot afternoon as avalanches and seracs fall from the mountain.
