Wildlife Adventure (3 Hours)
Departs from the Marine Centre at either Painter's Lodge or April Point Lodge.
With the magnificent Canadian wilderness as a backdrop, cruise through breathtaking Desolation Sound in your 12-passenger zodiac. Enjoy the majesty of Toba Inlet to seek out wildlife in their natural habitat. Stops to view wildlife will be made and the narrator will help you learn about the tides and the bird sanctuary. You can take in the exceptional scenery of Mitlenatch Island Marine Park and Bird Sanctuary, as well as the Brem River Estuary.

Whale Watching (5.5 Hours)
Departs from the Marine Centre at either Painter's Lodge or April Point Lodge.
Hold on for a sensational ride through the incredible beauty of B.C.'s Discovery Passage aboard our 24' Zodiac. See Killer Whales in their natural habitat while visiting famous Robson Bight, where Orcas rub their stomachs in the shallow sand, historic Telegraph Cove and a working fish farm. This tour includes lunch and is a full day Zodiac whale watching adventure.

Guided Salmon Fishing (4 Hours)
Departs from the Marine Centre at either April Point or Painters Lodge
Located in the self-proclaimed 'Salmon Capital of the World', Painter's Lodge offers some of the best fishing action available anywhere. Climb aboard one of the resort's 17-foot Boston Whalers to experience for yourself the excitement of a large salmon fighting on the line. You are sure to return from these Canadian coastal waters with fish tales about the whopper you caught or the proverbial 'one that got away'.
Package includes:
Tackle, bait, and rain gear
Cleaning and packaging of any fish caught
(The peak fishing season is in September)
Please note: Fishing licences are not included and may be purchased at
the resort prior to the scheduled trip.
