Calgary City Sights (4 Hours)
An introduction to the historic and modern highlights of this friendly and dynamic city includes a visit to Canada Olympic Park and ski jump tower, constructed for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, Fort Calgary, location of the original Mounted Police post and a trip to the top of the Calgary Tower. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will illustrate many points of interest.

    Banff & the Wild West (10.5 Hours)
    Departing from individual hotels - downtown Calgary
    Learn about the geology, native history and wildlife while exploring Banff and its surroundings. After departing the city of Calgary, travel west through the rolling foothills with the Candain Rocky Mountains in the horizon. The first stop will be at Stoney Nakoda Resort where there will be time to visit the Native Heritage artifacts exhibit. Lunch will be at leisure. Time will be set aside to participate in an optional Dreamcatcher excursion in a Terra-Bus to the First Nations Village and through the nearby Buffalo Paddock. The afternoon will take you into Banff National Park - only 15 minutes from thr town site of Banff. Enjoy a short tour visiting such points as Bow Falls, and Surprise Corner, and then it is a stop at the Banff Gondola (included) to ride up into the mountain tops for spectacular views from a one kilometre boardwalk or 360 degree observation deck. Your tour completes with an arrival back in Calgary at approximately 6:30pm

    Rockies Discovery & Glacier Experience (15 Hours)
    From the city of Calgary, venture westward through rolling foothills to the Bow Valley and ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Your route from Lake Louise is spectacular, as you travel one of the most scenic highways in the world - the Icefields Parkway. Glacier-fed rivers and streams, majestic peaks, peaceful lakes and broad-reaching valleys combine to create not only a harmonious blend of scenic wonders for guests, but also a protected habitat for Canadian Rockies wildlife. At the Columbia Icefield Centre, time is available to join an Ice Explorer excursion (included) onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. On the return portion, a stop is made for dinner in Banff (own cost). Your tour concludes upon arrival back in Calgary at approximately 9:00pm.

    Mountain Lakes & Waterfalls (15 Hours)
    Drive from Calgary to beautiful Johnston Canyon following a winding road along the base of the Bow Valley. Soon, reach Moraine Lake with the Valley of the Ten Peaks reflecting on its turquoise waters. Continue on to visit Lake Louise, the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies" with its backdrop of the glistening Victoria Glacier. After a lunch break at Lake Louise (included), cross the Great Divide and enter Yoho National Park. Visit the scenic Yoho Valley and such sights as Takakkaw Falls, Kicking Horse Pass, Emerald Lake and the Natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse river. On return there is a dinner stop in Banff (own cost). Your tour concludes upon arrival back in Calgary at approximately 9 pm
    Please Note: Most lakes are normally frozen until June. Due to winter conditions, some access roads may not open for the first few departures.

    Icefields Parkway & Glacier Tour Calgary to Jasper (11 Hours)
    Travel west from the cityscapes of Calgary, to Banff and Jasper National Parks. Numerous opportunities to appreciate nature walks and create the perfect photo-memory are available as you are guided northward along one of the world's most scenic highways - the Icefields Parkway. Time is provided for lunch en route (not included) . At the Columbia Icefield, join a Ice Explorer tour (included) onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. From the Icefield Centre, follow the Athabasca River Valley to Athabasca Falls and Jasper townsite.
    Please Note: When the Columbia Icefield Ice Explorers are not operating due to seasonality factors, this tour is reduced by approximately 1 1/2 hours.

    Dinosaur Badlands Tour (8-9 Hours)
    Departs for individual hotels - downtown Calgary
    Enter the Alberta Badlands at Horseshoe Canyon and begin an exciting search for dinosaur tracks at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology with a two-hour exploration. Venture back out into the Badlands to Horse Thief Canyon and cross the Red Deer River via the Bleriot Ferry. Your journey through history continues with an exploration of the unique Hoodoo geological formations and the historic Rosedale Suspension Bridge coal mining operation. Lunch included in Drumheller.

    Wild West Experience (9-10hrs)
    Departing from individual hotels – downtown Calgary A true Alberta experience. We get a glimpse of cowboy culture and how the native peoples once lived in Alberta. We drive down the historic cowboy trail and our first stop is at Bar U Ranch, a National Historic Site. This is a living, working museum commemorating Canada's ranching history. Many colourful characters have come through the Bar U Ranch such as John Ware and the SUndance Kid. Enjoy lunch with us at teh Bar U Ranch's Roadhouse Restauratn for traditional home cooked meals. We will see Chain Lakes and Lumbreck Falls nestled in the foothills of southern Alberta with the majestic Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. For the trip finale, one of the world's oldest, largest and best preserved buffalo jumps' known to exist; Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, where the foothills of the Rockies meet the great plains. Designated a a UNESCO World Heritage Site it has been used continuoisly by aboriginal peoples of the plains for more than 5,500 years.
